Many parts on these machines start to stain green over time and just don’t look very good at all.
Another feature that just looks fantastic on this machine is the backlit LCD control panel on the front. You can easily see the digital readout showing you the speed setting for the machine. It’s really nice being able to control the speed using the dial as well.

- Good safety features – The Ikon has a nice locking bar that holds all of the parts securely together. The machine will not run without the safety bar in place.
- Excellent value for the price – This is a high-quality machine and the price is very reasonable for a 5-speed juicer with the features offered.
- Dishwasher safe parts – Clean up is a snap and being able to pop parts in the dishwasher makes your life easier.
- 3-inch feed tube – This is very large and you should be able to easily add most fruits and vegetables without having to cut them into smaller pieces. This is a huge time saver. The tube is also positioned directly over the cutting blades, which adds to the juicing speed and overall efficiency of the machine.
The Bad
- Only a 1-year warranty – For a juicer in this price range I’d prefer to see a longer warranty.
- Lacks a pulp regulator – It would be nice to be able to control how much pulp you get in your juice. Some machines allow you to create really liquid juice or have your juice with some pulp left in it.
